A former SWAT operator and detective, JB’s career spans complex tactical deployments, criminal investigations, and leadership positions that demanded discipline, critical thinking, and decisive action under pressure.

As an instructor, JB has trained patrol officers, tactical teams, and military units, developing curricula that blend proven technical skills with the mindset and decision-making frameworks required for high‑risk environments. His teaching emphasizes realistic, scenario‑based training: firearms proficiency, dynamic entry and containment, close‑quarters tactics, team coordination, incident command awareness, and mental resilience. At Mantis Strategic Defense, JB leads all Law Enforcement training and tactical programs, ensuring courses meet current professional standards and the operational needs of agencies and teams.
