This class will be in the traditional 2-day format on Friday & Saturday, and the class will shoot the local USPSA match at RVSSA together on Sunday. The match will provide an opportunity to put the skills from class into practice, walk stages and discuss stage planning in more detail, and get some in person coaching throughout the match.

Unarmed Security Refresher – $75
This 4-hour refresher course is designed for currently certified unarmed security officers who need to renew their DPSST certification. All required training documents are provided and submitted directly to the Oregon DPSST by the instructor, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free renewal process.

Static Performance Handgun is an advanced-level course that builds on fundamental handgun skills. Students will enhance their understanding of firearm safety, handling, and basic operation while pushing performance with faster shooting drills. This course focuses on recoil management, reloads, target reacquisition, and timed exercises using shot timers. OWB and IWB holsters are both accepted. Drawing from the holster is required.

This beginner handgun course is designed for new shooters and concealed carry holders looking to build safe, effective firearm skills. Topics include range safety, handgun setup, stance, grip, aiming, trigger control, reloads, malfunction clearing, dry-fire training, and gear setup for work or everyday carry. Holster draw instruction available if applicable. Students should bring a reliable handgun, 150–200 rounds of ammunition, and eye/ear protection.

Armed security professionals certified through the state of Oregon DPSST are now required under House Bill 2527 to complete a firearms qualification training every year for each firearm make, model, and caliber that the armed private security professional will possess or have access to while performing private security services.

All security entities are required to maintain employee proof of training of each weapon platform an employee uses or has access to while performing private security services.
